August- Rest of the month

We came back to town Sat night. Church on Sunday.  Monday was swimming with Hubbard and Morrow friends. (Morrow girls not pictured)

Milam's first haircut. Just a trim around the ears.

Meet the teacher night. J in 5th, G in 4th, A in 2nd, W in K

Let's continue summer with one more skate afternoon.

L having fun with a box.

Girls made rice krispie treats for their after school snack tomorrow after school.  Annie wanted a little more than just a drizzle of chocolate on her side.

Homemade cinnamon rolls for breakfast with milk, bacon and fruit.

Milam was quick to follow me up the stairs. It was quiet at home on the first day of school. I forgot there were not other eyes watching him and he was lost not following siblings around the house. Loden told Milam he couldn't come up the stairs because he didn't know the password. That did not stop Milam.
Loden and Daddy hung up more bird seed.
Loden anxiously waiting for them to return home for snacks and swimming.

Second afternoon, we waited for them to come home on the back porch.

That night the boys had shirt hair fun.

Day 3. Waiting for the girls and W.

 After school bucks and fishing.

Day 4 of school days. If we have haircuts and take a nap, they will come home faster. L has a B.A. Baracus (Mr.T) haircut and water balloons.

We are waiting by the window on day 5

J trying out the inversion machine that I brought home from Aztec.

August- Milam's 1st Birthday

We were invited to a friend's community pool. There ended up being several friends at the pool, so we had an impromptu birthday party for Milam. Thank you Kara for running to the store for cupcakes and coming to the pool. Thanks to Kara, Kerri, Taryn and kids for celebrating M.

We had his family birthday party at home when Daddy got home.

Birthday mail from Gran-nola and Papa, and Grandma and Grandpa. He opened his from Mimi and Jazbo earlier in the summer.
